Lil' Wayne To Sell More Than Anybody Has This Year
It's rapper Lil Wayne, who's set to have the most massive first week of any new album this spring, by far.
How huge will it be? Tha Carter III just came out Tuesday morning, so it's difficult to tell from less than a day's worth of sales, but an exec at Lil Wayne's label estimates the disc will sell between 850,000 and 950,000 by the end of its first week. If their numbers are correct, that would be about double the opening figure for 2008's current record-holder, Mariah Carey's E=MC2, which opened with 443,000 copies.
All I can say is, damn.

Pussycat Dolls Shoot New Video; Britney On The Set?
Britney Spears is making a cameo in a new video by the Pussycat Dolls, Access Hollywood has learned.
A source close to the five piece girl group confirmed the news exclusively to Access.
“She is doing a cameo in their new video shoot today,” the source said.
Spears was spotted in Burbank earlier today, where the Pussycat Dolls are shooting a music video for “When I Grow Up,” the first single from their second, as yet untitled album.
Spears once joined the Pussycat Dolls on stage at a performance for her older brother Bryan’s birthday.
The Pussycat Dolls’ new record was executive produced by Timbaland and features appearances from Gnarls Barkley singer Cee-Lo Green and Sean Garrity.

Also, Solange, who is now on tour, has broken her foot, but (as of what I heard) she still continues performing. Her album drops August.
